  • Be sensitive to their wounds.
  • Be selective with your ways.
  • Be serious with your words.

 

“I’m so sorry that you are hurting.”

“My heart is filled with sadness for you right now.”

“My heart is breaking for you and what you are going through.”

“This must be incredibly disappointing. I care about that.”

“This must be so hard. I can only imagine the pressure you feel. I’m in this with you.”

  • Be soft with your warmth.
  • Be seated with your heart.
